Nichicon, a Reliable Supplier of High-Quality Products
All production facilities of Nichicon utilize our unique production management system in order to ensure that we maintain and continually improve upon the high standards of quality that have gained us worldwide recognition. This system allows verifying the details of when, where, and under what conditions each product was manufactured. It ensures stable and reliable production by enforcing strict quality control measures and eliminating defects. Our persistent pursuit of this “zero-defect” goal itself has been the engine driving us to achieve world quality assurance standards ahead of our competition.


Acquisition of ISO 9000 Series Certification
There are international standards for quality assurance systems formulated by the ISO (International Organization for Standardization). Nichicon's headquarters, its domestic sales offices and 18 production sites in Japan and overseas have been able to obtain ISO 9001:2000 certification.
Acquisition of ISO/TS 16949 Certification
This standard was formulated based on the QS-9000 component procurement standards of the Big 3 automakers in the U.S. (General Motors, Ford, and Daimler-Chrysler), and adding the requirements defined in standards used in various European countries, particularly VDA6.1 (Germany), EAQF (France) and AVSQ (Italy).
This standard was formulated for the purpose of assuring high quality and price reductions by applying common standards when automobile manufacturers procure components and other products. Within the Nichicon Group, our NAGANO FACTORY and five domestic offices have obtained this certification.
