Aiming for Growth in Four Markets with Growing Demand in Four Product Fields

Under the slogan of “make the strong stronger,” Nichicon is aiming for expansion and growth in the four top priority fields of “aluminum electrolytic capacitors,” “tantalum electrolytic capacitors,” “circuit products,” and “capacitors for electric apparatus and power utilities/others.” In order to achieve this goal, the idea of “selection and consolidation” becomes important in the markets we choose to focus on and cultivate within our four top priority product fields. For this reason, Nichicon has focused its attention on four markets that show remarkable growth: “digital household appliances” (that are integral parts of our affluent lives), “automobile -related appliances” (that are at the doorstep to the next generation of transportation with such developments as hybrid cars), “inverter-equipped products” (that are the key to further energy savings) and “information and communications-related appliances” (such as mobile phones and personal computers).

Nichicon is committed to further reinforcing its business capacities to accommodate customer demands in these markets to the greatest extent possible. We cooperate closely with our customers, delivering highly customized and individual proposals and sales solutions. Moreover, by developing differentiated products with higher reliability, safety, and functionality to offer improved competitiveness, we are able to achieve a tighter symbiotic relationship with our customers.
